LeRoeulx's Nicky Serneels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save LeRoeulx from getting a goal against them. If Maurice Elssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicky Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbrecht Jonckers in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jannes De Vos in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Marcus Gelens hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim-Jan Dekkers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th play minute Xander Wenderix came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yanne Neels. 2-1. In the 81st match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbrecht Jonckers to maneuver through the defense. Nicky Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante De Moor in the 85th minute of the match. Nicky Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannes De Vos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Izak Dewitte got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jannes De Vos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Serneels having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicky Serneels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With a little luck, Kickers United's Yanne Neels got control of the ball when Xander Wenderix tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 97th minute of the match Jannes De Vos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jannes De Vos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jannes De Vos hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Kickers United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
