Silvino Oña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Pavieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Claudinei Passos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvino Oña. The goal made the score 2-1. CD Municipal's Silvino Oña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them.

CD Municipal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
