In the 6th minute Loid Van Parijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Soliwoda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Racing Matinette's Sammy Cuejvers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Soliwoda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Loid Van Parijs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kajetan Soliwoda was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Kajetan Soliwoda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Matinette. Loid Van Parijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Stoners's Jurand Pieprz got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomil Zgonina made a kick off. Racing Matinette's Lucas Geijselinckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Zgonina in the 52nd minute of play. When Loid Van Parijs came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Racing Matinette fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loid Van Parijs couldn't finish the play. Kajetan Soliwoda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Cuejvers in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Racing Matinette booed when FC Stoners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Olisadebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Geijselinckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Zgonina, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 65 minutes, Jurand Pieprz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Stoners and the Racing Matinette players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loid Van Parijs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Kajetan Soliwoda made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, FC Stoners's goalkeeper Kajetan Soliwoda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loid Van Parijs. In the 77th minute, Radomil Zgonina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stoners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Radomil Zgonina put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Geijselinckx. Harrie Van Den Eynden kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Zbigniew Czysty sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Geijselinckx skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Janes Van der Perren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Matinette's supporters rose to their feet, but Janes Van der Perren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kajetan Soliwoda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kajetan Soliwoda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid Van Parijs in the 93rd minute. Lucas Geijselinckx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Czysty's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Matinette walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
