The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cesare Di Massimo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Di Massimo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Savicevic Show's Cesare Di Massimo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Fabiano Puce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ronny Jarstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Boymanns took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Luciano. Donato Luciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bernhard Stammler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Savicevic Show's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Boymanns came free, but Donato Luciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinando Benedetti scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronny Jarstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fabiano Puce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Alfred Boymanns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Donato Luciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronny Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Puce, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Savicevic Show's Donato Luciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Boymanns in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinando Benedetti got free with Ronny Jarstein in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Nat Bukschat sped through Savicevic Show's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donato Luciano. Alexander Bulla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ferdinando Benedetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savicevic Show's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinando Benedetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Jarstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Savicevic Show's Fabiano Puce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Jarstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 69th minute, Fabiano Puce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Savicevic Show fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Puce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Jarstein was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Alessandro Novella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Boymanns in the 81st minute of play forced Savicevic Show's goalkeeper Donato Luciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Luciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nat Bukschat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Puce in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronny Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Puce, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Fabiano Puce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
