After a defensive mix-up in Bandung Tigers's zone, Radomir Brytka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dodi Yustisio came out of the goal and Radomir Brytka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markus Husodo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Mariusz Kicia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dodi Yustisio. Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Engkus Sunandar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Kisielka having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miromir Sobania during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute Niki Krishna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Kisielka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Sutan Sundoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandung Tigers and the Gwarek Zabrze players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Bandung Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sutan Sundoro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Engkus Sunandar in the 41st minute of play forced Gwarek Zabrze's goalkeeper Wincent Kisielka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play Bandung Tigers's Fadhil Fatary was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 46 played minutes, Gwarek Zabrze's Mariusz Kicia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dodi Yustisio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gwarek Zabrze reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radomir Brytka to make the kick off. Dede Pakpahan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Mariusz Kicia struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Dodi Yustisio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gwarek Zabrze. If Engkus Sunandar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomil Kaszubowski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Gwarek Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Engkus Sunandar came free, but Wincent Kisielka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
