Marco Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ghislain Vanhee in the 11th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Fiori Arósio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Green Madness's Thibault Vital. Thibault Vital was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Sagarana Clube's zone, Ghislain Vanhee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Marquez came out of the goal and Ghislain Vanhee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thibault Vital showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Green Madness got a freekick which was hit by Ghislain Vanhee. If Gildas Walther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ghislain Vanhee came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Marquez could save by the left post. After 46 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Goiano.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gildas Walther was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cleiton Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagarana Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Madness the free kick. Cleiton Freitas hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thibault Vital took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Green Madness's Thibault Vital proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Green Madness from getting a goal against them. Pacôme Marx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Fiori Arósio took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Thibault Vital to make any attempt to save it. Sagarana Clube's Marco Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildas Walther in the 77th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Timothé Juin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Marquez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gildas Walther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildas Walther in the 82nd minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Marco Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pacôme Marx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Marquez having to interfere. Cleiton Freitas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marco Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildas Walther, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Arósio came free, but Thibault Vital reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Green Madness fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sagarana Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
