Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabríel Batistuta in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Donostia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomás Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabríel Batistuta in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Donostia saved ROJO from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in ROJO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute, Anselmo Arias made a precise shot to the right of Victorio Donostia. ROJO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Astor Transito made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Felix Bizi sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, ROJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Haritz to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Donostia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabríel Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. ROJO's Victorio Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Batistuta in the 30th minute of play. Victorio Donostia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabríel Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Tomás Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Donostia having to interfere. Gabríel Batistuta took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Donostia. Victorio Donostia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 77thth minute of the game Gabríel Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROJO's Victorio Donostia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabríel Batistuta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Victorio Donostia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 81stth minute of the game Gabríel Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROJO's Victorio Donostia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Javier Petri heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Gabríel Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Donostia was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Victorio Donostia was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Gabríel Batistuta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabríel Batistuta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. When Silverio Tadzio came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the RB Chubut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Tadzio couldn't finish the play. ROJO's Victorio Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Batistuta in the 93rd minute of play. Gabríel Batistuta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Victorio Donostia 97 minutes into the match. The ROJO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RB Chubut were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
