After 7 played minutes, Atlético Mineiro's Josué Dias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Milosz Napierkowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Mineiro reached it. Túlio Freitas's late challenge caught a Fae Folgore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. Túlio Freitas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Piotr Lichorobiec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Viana. Atlético Mineiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piotr Lichorobiec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Túlio Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milosz Napierkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Diego Viana came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Fae Folgore's Olgierd Skikiewicz. But to his dismay, Olgierd Skikiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Teofil Witek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Diego Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Fae Folgore got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Skikiewicz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Guilherme Batista to make the kick off. When Teofil Witek fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fae Folgore's protests and gave Teofil Witek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Fae Folgore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Lichorobiec to maneuver through the defense. Josué Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milosz Napierkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Olgierd Skikiewicz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Milosz Napierkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Batista in the 65th minute of play. After a long run with the ball, Olgierd Skikiewicz did a trick in the 67th minute in front of Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-0. An impressive performance by Fae Folgore's Olgierd Skikiewicz! In the 71st minute, Olgierd Skikiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Diego Viana. Atlético Mineiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Fae Folgore defense, Fabiano Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milosz Napierkowski. The Fae Folgore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milosz Napierkowski should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fae Folgore had played much better football throughout.
