Diogo Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Bredesen went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when Gædd FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frode Rosenlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Chelsicha got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Rodrigues. 11 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's Alf-Inge Hol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Jan Kile who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diogo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Bredesen in the 16th minute of the match. Diogo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Bredesen in the 18th minute of play. Frederico de Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Andreas Berglund made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf-Inge Hol in the 21st minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Diogo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf-Inge Hol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diogo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf-Inge Hol in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Edvin Bredesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alf-Inge Hol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Velloso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico de Mendonça in the 33rd minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Berglund having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedê Marquez. Andreas Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ernesto Varela hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Diogo Velloso came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Gædd FK's Edvin Bredesen. But to his dismay, Edvin Bredesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antônio Carlos Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvin Bredesen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Diogo Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gædd FK. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alf-Inge Hol took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Diogo Velloso to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsicha's zone, Kjartan Kroken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Velloso came out of the goal and Kjartan Kroken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvin Bredesen in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diogo Velloso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Diogo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Helgesen in the 68th minute of play. Diogo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Kile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Angelo de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Geir-Inge Unhjem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osvaldo Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gædd FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
