The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kent Vidman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pontus Valström having to make a save. Per-Erik Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Hannes Waller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uffe Ruff. Lost Boys Sports Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannes Waller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Blåvitt getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olov Hedbom hit a great ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Per-Erik Vesterberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blåvitt's Pontus Valström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pontus Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Vesterberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Kent Vidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uffe Ruff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Hedbom in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Blåvitt booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olov Hedbom was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Per-Erik Vesterberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pontus Valström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 56 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Olov Wiklund. 62 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goalkeeper Pontus Valström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Erik Vesterberg. If Walter Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patric Falk hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes, Blåvitt's Olov Hedbom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uffe Ruff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blåvitt reached it. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Christer Aleberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Kent Vidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Per-Erik Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Vidman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes, Karl-Oskar Gunnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blåvitt and the Lost Boys Sports Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Vidman in the 82nd minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Pontus Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Stigsson.
