The Sorci Viola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when A A Arizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A A Arizona's zone, Ferruccio Cordone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Siqueira came out of the goal and Ferruccio Cordone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amedeo Carnevale struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rodolfo Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorci Viola. After 32 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Cordone. Hélder Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fortunato Pizziolo having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Amedeo Carnevale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amedeo Carnevale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Siqueira having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Pinho to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Rodolfo Siqueira managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Sorci Viola's Amos Colle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Chicão Freire fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A A Arizona's protests and gave Chicão Freire a yellow card for diving instead. Chicão Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Pinho came free, but Fortunato Pizziolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Pizziolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazinho Godoi's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Rodolfo Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Elia Piermattei sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when A A Arizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Sorci Viola left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A A Arizona.
