Dorian Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elvio Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisão Tande in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Galtero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 minutes of play, 27 de Mayo's Luisão Tande made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Galtero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 43 played minutes Forest Green got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Argina. When Dorian Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the 27 de Mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorian Hoffmann couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisão Tande was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dorian Hoffmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elvio Galtero, 0-2. When 27 de Mayo's Luisão Tande in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Forest Green's Elvio Galtero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Forest Green from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Hélio Pernambucano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvio Galtero. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 95th match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Bastos to maneuver through the defense. The Forest Green fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 27 de Mayo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
