In the 17th match minute, Forest Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. If Uriel Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Curcio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Curcio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quimeras Jrs.'s Fulgencio Curcio got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Forest Green getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Generoso Milio hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Gartzi during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Quimeras Jrs. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. Quimeras Jrs. were furious when Alvaro Tanio was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quimeras Jrs. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The ball had pretty good speed, but Baldomero Sayvion firmly grabbed it by the left post. Quimeras Jrs.'s Baldomero Sayvion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Quimeras Jrs. from getting a goal against them. After 77 minutes, Tadeo Jon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quimeras Jrs. and the Forest Green players grew even worse after the yellow card.
