After a defensive mix-up in MZ Fénix's zone, Guillermo Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarco Bandeira came out of the goal and Guillermo Leheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Guillermo Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Leheren scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zarco Bandeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Chesus came free, but Zarco Bandeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Benvido got free with Zarco Bandeira in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Chesus took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zarco Bandeira. Zarco Bandeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Orkatz came free, but Zarco Bandeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvério Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvério Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 39 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Zarco Bandeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Leheren. Silvério Simões hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes PARNASOVFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Harkaitz. Maurício Mansilha kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Carmelo Orkatz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zarco Bandeira. Carmelo Orkatz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Bernardes to make the kick off. MZ Fénix were furious when Vítor Severiano was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MZ Fénix! Fabian Chesus walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of PARNASOVFC booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes, Guillermo Leheren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PARNASOVFC and the MZ Fénix players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when PARNASOVFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Gusmão Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Alexandrino Palha's late challenge caught a PARNASOVFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandrino Palha helped the player get up and apologised. If Paulo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Bernardes got free with Ceferino Cordaryal in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PARNASOVFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
