The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jânio Guimarães scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Bergman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes Plan B got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Vidman. John Högman's late challenge caught a Scarlet Speedster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 11th minute of the match Romário Ceresso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Bergman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rune Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Peres in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Josef Lundberg hit a great ball. Dudu de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Dalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plan B's Valentin Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Nascimento's late challenge caught a Plan B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jânio Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dudu de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Dalman in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, John Högman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Scarlet Speedster's Romário Ceresso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rune Bergman. Rune Bergman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Plan B's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Romário Ceresso scored to the left of an out of position Rune Bergman, making the score, 0-3. Rune Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Ceresso in the 75th minute of the match. Rune Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Plan B's Valentin Vidman made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudu de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Scarlet Speedster's Dudu de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Lundberg in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior da Fonseca in the 90th minute of play forced Plan B's goalkeeper Rune Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jânio Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Rune Bergman made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Lino Paiva.
