Raphael Areggers short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Ademar Mesquita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claus Buccino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Espen Steelers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bryan Rohner took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Mesquita. Ademar Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Emanuel Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the WMWILD1983FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Galvão couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes WMWILD1983FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Fernandez. Claus Buccino took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Mesquita. Ademar Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With 26 minutes on the clock, Fidel Righetti commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Moreira came free, but Randolf Achen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espen Steelers's Randolf Achen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Moreira in the 32nd minute of play. If Leandro Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Randolf Achen came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by WMWILD1983FC's Leandro Leão. But to his dismay, Leandro Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 41st match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Azara to maneuver through the defense. Michael Charpie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Fernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Fernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when WMWILD1983FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espen Steelers's Miro Willi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ademar Mesquita but with some difficulty.

Espen Steelers's Randolf Achen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Espen Steelers from getting a goal against them. Michael Charpie hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Flavian Fäh replaced Miro Willi. WMWILD1983FC's Gilson Freire was substituted for Gil Moreira. In the 72nd minute, Emanuel Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Claus Buccino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Mesquita was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 80 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Renato Azara. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Aregger during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Freeman Mächler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
