The referee ignored FC Draconia's protests and gave Tommie Verhelst a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Tommie Verhelst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uwe Nwachukwu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Arias in the 7th minute. Uwe Nwachukwu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Enzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richmond Van Hoeyvelt came free, but Felipe Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jerry Moerman sped through Enzo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felipe Ondino. Richmond Van Hoeyvelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Ondino having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Tommie Verhelst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richmond Van Hoeyvelt to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Ceandro. In the 37th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Olemans to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Basilio Cambranes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uwe Nwachukwu. That made the score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. Uwe Nwachukwu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Ceandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Uwe Nwachukwu made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Fausto Arias sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Moerman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Emanuel Van Damme got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Arias in the 54th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Enzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Felipe Ondino managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when FC Draconia's Jerry Moerman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute, Jerry Moerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Ondino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Richmond Van Hoeyvelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommie Verhelst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Ondino having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Ireno during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Draconia's Uwe Nwachukwu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Ceandro in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommie Verhelst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Ondino. That made the score 3-4 in the 85 minute of play. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Enzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Draconia's Bernard Roosendael suffered a concussion in the 96th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Tomas Lucero charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Lucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Draconia's Dimitri Parmentier was substituted for Bernard Roosendael. 99 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's Jerry Moerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Ondino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Enzo FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
