After 4 minutes, Gabriel Cebo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento de Resistencia and the Uzumaki FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Gabriel Cebo got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 8 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Cebo. 8 minutes into the match, Uzumaki FC's Josias Ortiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Uzumaki FC's goalkeeper André Onana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Ourente. After a defensive mix-up in Uzumaki FC's zone, Ulises Bitxintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Onana came out of the goal and Ulises Bitxintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustin Cayo's late challenge caught a Uzumaki FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Cayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Agustin Cayo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Roque Totakoxe got a free kick in the 19th minute. During the 23rd minute of the match Agustin Cayo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Agustin Cayo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 23 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Cayo. Oriche Leyva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Leon Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uzumaki FC's André Onana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Ourente in the 44th minute of play. If Francis Canyelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Erling Håland made the kick off in the second half. Francis Canyelles did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Filomeno Tirso 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uzumaki FC's zone, Braulio Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Onana came out of the goal and Braulio Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Gabriel Cebo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Filomeno Tirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Uzumaki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizka Rallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Onana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Felipe Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uzumaki FC the free kick. Felipe Leguizamón hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bernabe George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Onana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Braulio Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Uzumaki FC's Gaizka Rallo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaizka Rallo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uzumaki FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaizka Rallo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 82 minutes into the game, one of Uzumaki FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sarmiento de Resistencia a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernabe George, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uzumaki FC's André Onana. 1-1. In the 89th minute Cesar Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Uzumaki FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sarmiento de Resistencia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
