The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílcar Aragão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Josué Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperBola.com's protests and gave Josué Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. Julião Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Veloso in the 55th minute of play. Julião Assunção came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Betão Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Betão Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When António Severo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperBola.com's protests and gave António Severo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, SuperBola.com was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Severo to maneuver through the defense. Júnior Veloso took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julião Assunção. Julião Assunção dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Betão Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Júnior Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capivara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience was convinced that Júnior Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julião Assunção was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. João Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when António Severo sent off a good shot on target.
