Júnior Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnard Meyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Darley Worsley took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Júnior Pirani to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Darley Worsley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júnior Pirani. The goal made the score 2-0. Júnior Pirani stood somewhat misplaced when Barnard Meyers came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. After 26 minutes, Christopher Marcola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frenchville Sports Club and the Leões do Sul 53 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christopher Marcola hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes, Leões do Sul 53's Dedé Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brock Waters came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Dedé Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leões do Sul 53's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júnior Pirani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brendan Gannan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Brendan Gannan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júnior Pirani, 6-0. Júnior Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Gannan in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brendan Gannan to make the kick off. Leões do Sul 53's Júnior Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Gannan in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Darley Worsley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leões do Sul 53's Júnior Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Frenchville Sports Club's Brendan Gannan made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Nilson Crapp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80thth minute of the game Paulo Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frenchville Sports Club's Brock Waters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute Egídio Reis suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Isaac Mcmanamny charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Mcmanamny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leões do Sul 53 made a substitution. Gualter de Salles replaced Egídio Reis. The supporters of Leões do Sul 53 booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Pirani had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Christopher Marcola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Frenchville Sports Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
