In the 3rd minute, Jeronimo Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led El Retorno de Palermo's Mariano Quinteros to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Restu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sergio Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Satordi in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Angelino Senen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Mariano Quinteros sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Aldo Restu threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Mariano Quinteros this time. In the 16th minute, Geronimo Satordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Waffem Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aldo Restu was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Gaspar Iraitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaspar Iraitz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With an all-out effort, El Retorno de Palermo's Aldo Restu threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Ofelio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sergio Faron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Tonete went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Waffem Fc's goalkeeper Aldo Restu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Iraitz. Aldo Restu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Restu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Musko in the 33rd minute of play. Sergio Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Cordara in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Geronimo Satordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Waffem Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The El Retorno de Palermo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Waffem Fc were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Leandro Ofelio made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Leandro Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Waffem Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, El Retorno de Palermo's David Paublo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Restu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Retorno de Palermo reached it. After having played for 61 minutes, Leandro Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Retorno de Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Restu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Musko in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Restu saved Waffem Fc from getting behind. Eulalio Tonete took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Faron. Sergio Faron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After some careless play in the El Retorno de Palermo defense, Eulalio Tonete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Faron. The El Retorno de Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Faron should have stopped the shot. Prudencio Ekain's late challenge caught a Waffem Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Ekain helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Prudencio Ekain hit a great ball. The supporters of Waffem Fc booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Restu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 90th match minute, Waffem Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Senen to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes, El Retorno de Palermo's Augusto Haitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Restu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
