The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Geovânio Barreto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of XV de Indaial protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Geovânio Barreto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 2nd minute, one of XV de Indaial:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XV de Indaial. Tales de Souza's late challenge caught a Błαck Bułłs MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Carlos Augusto do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Luís Eduardo Almeida. XV de Indaial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Błαck Bułłs MZ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ademir Negri hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Coutinho in the 18th minute of play. Luís Eduardo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Błαck Bułłs MZ booed when XV de Indaial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ademir Negri from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Luís Eduardo Almeida's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fernando Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Luís Eduardo Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Błαck Bułłs MZ. In the 43rdth minute of the game Fernando Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XV de Indaial's Luís Eduardo Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Augusto do Valle was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luisinho Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo Almeida. XV de Indaial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Augusto do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 58 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Paraibano came free, but Luís Eduardo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Carlos Augusto do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the XV de Indaial defense, Carlos Augusto do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Almeida. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Almeida should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute of the match Augusto Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Eduardo Almeida skillfully saved the ball. In the 72nd match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Tande to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto do Valle in the 76th minute of play. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Almeida should have stopped the shot. Luís Eduardo Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Coutinho's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Luís Eduardo Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Błαck Bułłs MZ were the better team. Błαck Bułłs MZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
