Angel Nastasio took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuriy Abhazov. Yuriy Abhazov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Aleksey Doronin in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Black Devils's Gaudencio Bazil. After a rather tough play, Black Devils's Gaudencio Bazil got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gonzalo Naldo lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. It was beautiful to see Курск ФК's Aleksey Doronin in action when he in the 22nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a defensive mix-up in Black Devils's zone, Boris Protasevich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Maraman came out of the goal and Boris Protasevich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Black Devils fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Black Devils's Orlando Stephen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 minutes, Orlando Stephen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Devils and the Курск ФК players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Stephen was the one to do the kick off. Black Devils's Orlando Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes, Sergey Kryukov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Курск ФК and the Black Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Black Devils's protests and gave Angel Nastasio a yellow card for diving instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Black Devils were victorious despite being under pressure from Курск ФК for much of the match.
