Jan Jandera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Skittrall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Ed Skittrall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Jandera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Kenneth Limmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Jandera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Chorchoj's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenneth Limmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Petr Šícha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chris Hemsley having to make a save. Chris Hemsley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petr Šícha in the 18th minute. FC Chorchoj's Jan Jandera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jess Haslett in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petr Šícha got free with Chris Hemsley in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kenneth Limmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Mitchell Warren. 38 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Konečný came free, but Chris Hemsley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Elderslie Magpies's Paco Smee seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paco Smee the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elderslie Magpies protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paco Smee had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Paco Smee hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, FC Chorchoj's Michal Kubiš dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petr Šícha to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Hemsley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Konečný in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Braedan Wayland came free, but Jan Jandera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Chris Hemsley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Šícha in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute Petr Šícha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Hemsley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drake Annis came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan Jandera could save by the left post. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Chorchoj! Jan Kubíček hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 69 minutes in the game, Kenneth Limmer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. FC Chorchoj's Jan Jandera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braedan Wayland in the 72nd minute of play. Petr Šícha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petr Šícha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Chris Hemsley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Šícha came free, but Chris Hemsley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, FC Chorchoj's Petr Šícha made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chris Hemsley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Braedan Wayland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Jan Jandera made a huge save. After 97 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Hale Mckinnes. Michal Kubiš took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chris Hemsley. Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Chorchoj's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
