With an all-out effort, FV Wienerwald's José Luis Chilavert threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waldemar Giesen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Giesen during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Waldemar Giesen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC WAWER booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre-Yann Kahofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norman-Alexander Wellmann came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC WAWER's Wladyslaw Kaczucha. But to his dismay, Wladyslaw Kaczucha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Kaczucha in the 11th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hartmut Wannemacher hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartmut Wannemacher to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, FC WAWER's Zbyszek Czerner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC WAWER reached it. 17 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Kölblinger came free, but José Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC WAWER's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Luca Ternes scored to the left of an out of position José Luis Chilavert, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Kaczucha in the 27th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Giesen in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Urban didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC WAWER's José Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Luca Ternes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwo Rybak hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, FV Wienerwald's Luca Ternes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartmut Wannemacher in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Urban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Luca Ternes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes FC WAWER got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Wyrostek. In the 58th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre-Yann Kahofer to maneuver through the defense. Luca Ternes scored 4-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Luis Chilavert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Tommi Braun replaced Jan-Erik Gleissner. José Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kölblinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Luca Ternes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FV Wienerwald's Daniel Strack was substituted for Jo Jani. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Andre-Yann Kahofer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. FC WAWER's José Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Appel in the 84th minute of play. When Bernard Banan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC WAWER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Banan couldn't finish the play.
