But to his dismay, Bart Van de Velde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Simon Goncalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, corsaire nantais's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Van de Velde came free, but Hubert Donnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Bart Van de Velde made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Donnet. corsaire nantais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nelson Maussion hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Van Laer in the 29th minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Hubert Donnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Donnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Van Laer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Simon Goncalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Youri Maurette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the corsaire nantais and the Suikerklontjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes, Suikerklontjes's Xander Caers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hubert Donnet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suikerklontjes reached it. 43 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Nils Lambert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Goncalves. In the 46th minute Bart Van de Velde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Donnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bacary Pincon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Lambert having to interfere.

Hubert Donnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Roelandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 53rd minute of the match Youri Maurette completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Youri Maurette a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to corsaire nantais getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Youri Maurette hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Jason Bertaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Josef Rits. In the 65th minute, Jason Bertaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bart Van de Velde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hubert Donnet made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Rocky Roelandts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Nelson Maussion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. corsaire nantais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suikerklontjes the free kick. After a rather tough play, corsaire nantais's Nelson Maussion got a free kick in the 78th minute. Rocky Roelandts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Donnet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, corsaire nantais's Hubert Donnet got control of the ball when Bart Van de Velde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bart Van de Velde had several of the corsaire nantais's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Hubert Donnet as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute, Johannes Van Laer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Suikerklontjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Rits to maneuver through the defense.
