In the 4th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Botelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 6thth minute of the game Lucas Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Antoine Zahra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Botelho in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoine Zahra saved Attard Gunners from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Botelho in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoine Zahra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Incorvaia hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Antoine Zahra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Vianna in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Ryan Padovani got a free kick in the 26th minute. Antoine Zahra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Botelho hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Attard Gunners's Antoine Zahra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Cunha in the 38th minute of play. Cássio Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Padovani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Cássio Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clyde Schembri Zerafa. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Botelho was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Clyde Schembri Zerafa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Belotaurus FC's Lucas Botelho got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fabio Vassallo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Belotaurus FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Evaristo Brodel hit a great ball. Geovani de Alcântara hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Belotaurus FC's Cássio Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 68th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Gerber to maneuver through the defense. When Lawrence De Marco came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Attard Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lawrence De Marco couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Lawrence De Marco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Aloísio Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belotaurus FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
