Viljami Virtala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Sabri El Aska when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Wassim Imad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmi Oksa came out of the goal and Wassim Imad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmi Oksa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wassim Imad in the 35th minute of the match. Sabri El Aska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuukka Liimatainen in the 45th minute of play. Liverpool FC were furious when Ilmari Seppo was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 49th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilmari Seppo to maneuver through the defense. If Dani Tajid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
