After a defensive mix-up in Altamora FC's zone, Adam Weets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Quinaz came out of the goal and Adam Weets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrad Steenberghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Baía in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Ademar Baía shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrad Steenberghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Serafim Jordão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Adam Weets slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Quinaz. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Saúl Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrad Steenberghs having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ademar Baía managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Baía was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafim Jordão in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrad Steenberghs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrad Steenberghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saúl Correia in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Correia in the 36th minute of play forced Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Conrad Steenberghs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrad Steenberghs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Baía, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Serafim Jordão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrad Steenberghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altamora FC's Saúl Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Baía's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrad Steenberghs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Tibo Van Aertvinck got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ademar Baía made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Saúl Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrad Steenberghs. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. Ademar Baía sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Altamora FC's Saúl Correia in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ademar Baía managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conrad Steenberghs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Serafim Jordão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Les Bistouquettes Bleues defense, Saúl Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrad Steenberghs. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrad Steenberghs should have stopped the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Serafim Jordão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Jordão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafim Jordão might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrad Steenberghs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim Jordão ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Weets scored 2-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Quinaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
