Evaristo Pontigo started the match with the kick off. Eugenio Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Arósio having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, Nopoche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Manterola to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Alberto Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Serón showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Francisco Antonio Maturana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Serón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Isaiás Tabilo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ariel Serón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renatinho Teles went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Antonio Backhouse got free with Germano Arósio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germano Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Backhouse in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Robinho Pitta made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Serón. Nopoche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tião da Mata in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nopoche's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Francisco Antonio Maturana made a precise shot to the right of Germano Arósio. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Francisco Antonio Maturana kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Clube Atl. Taquaritinga were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Renatinho Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Serón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Maturana in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião da Mata in the 57th minute of play forced Nopoche's goalkeeper Ariel Serón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Serón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho Pitta in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Nopoche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Pontigo to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Serón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Teles in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Nopoche's Ariel Serón got control of the ball when Robinho Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Tião da Mata suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga made a substitution. Erivaldo Vergílio replaced Tião da Mata. After 69 played minutes Nopoche got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Manterola. In the 73rd minute, Pepe Barasarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Nopoche's zone, Nestor Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Serón came out of the goal and Nestor Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robinho Pitta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Ariel Serón 81 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Nopoche's Eugenio Chao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germano Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Adriano Scheuermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nopoche's Ariel Serón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Nopoche from getting a goal against them. After 95 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Renan Capixaba. 96 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Palma came free, but Germano Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
