In the 9th minute Elivélton Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Kaminski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Maksymilian Orlicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Komanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Komanski in the 13th minute of play. Itajaí Football Club's Paulo Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Komanski in the 16th minute of play. Ignacy Jajko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Mattos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Marciewicz in the 28th minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Paulo Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Elivélton Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wlodzimierz Kaminski. INTER Sosnowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elivélton Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

If Narciso Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Berger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wlodzimierz Kaminski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, INTER Sosnowiec's Ignacy Jajko got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by César Pinheiro. Paulo Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lichorobiec in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Itajaí Football Club booed when INTER Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Majkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waclaw Komanski took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Mattos. Paulo Mattos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Maksymilian Orlicki kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Robert Lichorobiec hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Jardel Sá sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wlodzimierz Kaminski skillfully saved the ball. INTER Sosnowiec played a much better game than Itajaí Football Club and deserved their victory. The Itajaí Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
