In the 25th match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Osmundo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MOEBIO booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Guipuzkoa in the 38th minute of play forced MOEBIO's goalkeeper Casimiro Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Urti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MOEBIO getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tomas Urti hit a great ball. Fernando Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Orlondo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Dario Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Urti in the 53rd minute of the match. Dario Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Honrio in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Guipuzkoa. 64 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Orlondo came free, but Dario Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Gerazan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Honrio in the 76th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Dario Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Roque Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes, Alo Ba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB and the MOEBIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alo Ba hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Efrain Mateo's late challenge caught a BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Mateo helped the player get up and apologised. For all the effort they put into the match, the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MOEBIO.
