Spectators: 185 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Benjamin De Wulf made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the game, Selebi-Phikwe's Benjamin De Wulf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Václav Židek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stano Bugoš during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Selebi-Phikwe getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Benjamin De Wulf hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Samo Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kukova's supporters rose to their feet, but Samo Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dre Coomans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Samo Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dre Coomans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Václav Židek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanis Van Schoorisse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Selebi-Phikwe's Benjamin De Wulf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Václav Židek. Václav Židek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 35th minute, Kaba Okala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Václav Židek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. FC Kukova's Stano Bugoš got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Stano Bugoš off the ground. The supporters of Selebi-Phikwe booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stano Bugoš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin De Wulf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dre Coomans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Baráth, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ľubomír Baráth to make the kick off. After 50 minutes, Yanis Van Schoorisse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selebi-Phikwe and the FC Kukova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ľubomír Baráth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dre Coomans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kukova's zone, Refael Konings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Václav Židek came out of the goal and Refael Konings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Kukova's Václav Židek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Villyn in the 65th minute of play. When Róbert Greman fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kukova's protests and gave Róbert Greman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Kukova's Róbert Greman got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Ernest De Koq shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Václav Židek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ondrej Olejár in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dre Coomans saved Selebi-Phikwe from getting behind. Václav Židek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refael Konings in the 76th minute of play. Cederik Worteleers hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Ondrej Olejár got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ondrej Olejár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dre Coomans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Selebi-Phikwe getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Benjamin De Wulf hit a great ball. Ľubomír Baráth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Selebi-Phikwe fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Kukova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
