In the 33rd minute of the match, Róbert Greman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casimiro Ekaitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Erubiel Orlondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. MOEBIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Orlondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Václav Židek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Kukova's Miroslav Bán got a free kick in the 41st minute. Miroslav Mastiš hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Václav Židek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
