The 1947 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gilberto Hernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Gudesteo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Nico Bonachea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1947 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Bonachea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Hernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Gudesteo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Benito Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1947 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Gudesteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to 1947 FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benito Gudesteo hit a great ball. Jimeno Millano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gilberto Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Polentzi in the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Gudesteo during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martín Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Acosta. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when 1947 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Bonachea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Gudesteo made a kick off. With his leg Gilberto Hernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when 1947 FC's Nico Bonachea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Felix Luzaide got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Aquiles Talone fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1947 FC's protests and gave Aquiles Talone a yellow card for diving instead. Guaberto Polentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Polentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roman Petrigai hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Bernardo Acosta fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Benito Gudesteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Benito Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Esteban Bastian got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 1947 FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
