The audience was convinced that Breno da Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Webster was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Ronaldão Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Symons, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 23 minutes of play, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Breno da Cunha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Webster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedrinho Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dave Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Breno da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC LIVERPOOL's Dave Webster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedrinho Teixeira in the 29th minute. The corner led IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Tarcisio Ramos to a score. 0-2 in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Teixeira in the 32nd minute of play forced FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Dave Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lance Sedgemore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ronaldão Quirino made a huge save. Dave Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno da Cunha in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Lance Sedgemore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LIVERPOOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Sedgemore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lance Sedgemore to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Denis Blowman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão Quirino skillfully saved the ball. Joshua Beaver kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Lance Sedgemore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Ronaldão Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC LIVERPOOL defense, Tarcisio Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Webster. The FC LIVERPOOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Webster should have stopped the shot. Dave Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Recife in the 74th minute of the match. Dave Webster was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Pedrinho Teixeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedrinho Teixeira really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 79th minute Brad Symons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, FC LIVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Beaver to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Webster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrinho Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Tarcisio Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ played a much better game than FC LIVERPOOL and deserved their victory. The FC LIVERPOOL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
