A collision led to Atlético Capixaba getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Henrique Alvarenga hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Severino Orlondon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandinho França skillfully saved the ball. Durvalino Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Milio. Fernandinho França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Manuel Oto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandinho França was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Atlético Capixaba's Dalmo Saraiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 26 minutes into the match, Henrique Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Santo. Amboy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 30th minute, Dalmo Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Alvarenga in the 31st minute of play. Atlético Capixaba's Fernandinho França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Oto in the 34th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Uriel Etxekopar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Capixaba's Fernandinho França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Saraiva in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Leme was the one to do the kick off. In the 89th minute Jacobo Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandinho França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
