The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Wiliam Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferreira Lopes MZC and the Deuce Athletic Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ferreira Lopes MZC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Wiliam Donato hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Deuce Athletic Club's Jeronimo Pasqual tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Donato to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ferreira Lopes MZC's zone, Jeronimo Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Santana came out of the goal and Jeronimo Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Deuce Athletic Club's Gervasio Bautista in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute of the match, Adolfo Silvino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caetano Santana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wiliam Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Manfredo Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ferreira Lopes MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfredo Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Mané Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anacleto Ikatz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caetano Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Deuce Athletic Club got a corner. Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeronimo Pasqual ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Carmelo Cordaryal advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Adolfo Silvino hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Caetano Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Bautista during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Gartzi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gartzi in the 53rd minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Donato. In the 58thth minute of the game Leonardo Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferreira Lopes MZC's Caetano Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Anacleto Ikatz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Tarcisio Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anacleto Ikatz. Deuce Athletic Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tarcisio Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gervasio Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gartzi in the 79th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gartzi in the 92nd minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Deuce Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Gaizkine. In the 95th minute of the match, Ezequiel Prata tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anacleto Ikatz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferreira Lopes MZC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
