Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cipriano Vicente got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlomagno Ortiz. 5 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Vicente came free, but Benicio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zunbeltz Soto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Tadzio's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergori Climent in the 10th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Cipriano Vicente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benicio Gaitan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Mendez got free with Benicio Gaitan in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gergori Climent took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Catarinense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Benicio Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gergori Climent went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Gergori Climent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Benicio Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gergori Climent hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Benicio Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gergori Climent sent off a good shot on target. Benicio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlomagno Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Quintyn to make the kick off. Cipriano Vicente took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Benicio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Mendez in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Anibal Quintan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Vicente in the 76th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Mendez in the 77th minute of play. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cipriano Vicente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Catarinense F.C. defense, Carlomagno Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Gaitan. The Catarinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. Ruperto Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Gaitan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlomagno Ortiz in the 94th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
