Tzvetoslav Drenovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierre Avina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalkeeper Santi Villafranca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genko Klyashev. A collision led to Oylimpiamos Ψ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gutierre Avina hit a great ball. Tzvetoslav Drenovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Gandara, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kusko Bernabeytia kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes, SvE United's Dimo Igov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santi Villafranca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Santi Villafranca made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Genko Klyashev sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Polo Gandara made a kick off. Tzvetoslav Drenovski was a little too slow when Gutierre Avina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Polo Gandara's late challenge caught a SvE United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Polo Gandara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Polo Gandara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Santi Villafranca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anzhelo Serdev in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Oylimpiamos Ψ defense, Gancho Urumov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santi Villafranca. The Oylimpiamos Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santi Villafranca should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, SvE United's Genko Klyashev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santi Villafranca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a rather tough play, SvE United's Denko Krústanov got a free kick in the 67th minute. Polo Gandara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santi Villafranca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Klyashev in the 82nd minute of the match. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Santi Villafranca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anzhelo Serdev in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Genko Klyashev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santi Villafranca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Oylimpiamos Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Ovando Fandiño. 95 minutes into the game, Dimo Igov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Santi Villafranca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Salazano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 100 minutes into the match.
