In the 3rd minute, Papunhas EC's Renatinho Barreto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Renatinho Barreto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Papunhas EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Renatinho Barreto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, Vila Zumbi - Férias's Elano Coutinho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitinho Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elano Coutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitinho Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elano Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the game, Magno Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. After some careless play in the Papunhas EC defense, Magno Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho Cabral. The Papunhas EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho Cabral should have stopped the shot. Magno Moreira scored 5-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitinho Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Elano Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitinho Cabral. That made the score 6-0 in the 34 minute of play. Richard Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Geovanildo Cannavaro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frédson Rosa made the kick off in the second half. Vitinho Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Diniz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Cabral saved Papunhas EC from getting behind. Chico Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Amaral came free, but Vitinho Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Cannavaro notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Papunhas EC's Vitinho Cabral. Vitinho Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Dagoberto Abraão got a free kick in the 87th minute. Elano Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Magno Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Coutinho scored 15-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitinho Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
