Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilberto Garcia kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Jefferson Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Cabral came out of the goal and Jefferson Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitinho Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Dagoberto Abraão in the 16th minute really tested Waldir Palmeira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Juninho Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Cabral having to interfere. The Tirense F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Tirense F.C.'s Gilberto Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rogério Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Vitinho Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Arósio in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Madureira to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Richard Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Palmeira stood somewhat misplaced when Frédson Rosa came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tirense F.C. booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitinho Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Garcia in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frédson Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Cabral having to interfere. Betinho Aparecido's late challenge caught a Tirense F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betinho Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. Tirense F.C. were furious when Marcel de Amaral was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 63 minutes into the game, one of Tirense F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Papunhas EC. Gonçalo Vieira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Waldir Palmeira. 2-1. Waldir Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Juninho Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Rogério Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Waldir Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gonçalo Vieira hit a great ball. Waldir Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Negri went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Rogério Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Palmeira having to interfere. Waldir Palmeira came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Papunhas EC's Rogério Lara. But to his dismay, Rogério Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tirense F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Papunhas EC.
