When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Michael De Potter sped through 泾县Red-Star FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 何志昂. In the 13th minute, Fauna Utd's Michael De Potter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Yannis Candries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 何志昂 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael De Potter went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Fauna Utd's Michael De Potter in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in 泾县Red-Star FC's zone, Michael De Potter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 何志昂 came out of the goal and Michael De Potter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 31 minutes on the clock, Teun Van den Panhuyzen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 31st minute, one of Fauna Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fauna Utd. The referee gave 泾县Red-Star FC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 曾昂文, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fauna Utd's Arne Van Brusselen. 3-1. If 余思坤 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, 泾县Red-Star FC's 袁朗辉 made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Van Brusselen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 袁朗辉 to make the kick off. 袁朗辉 struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Arne Van Brusselen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 泾县Red-Star FC. In the 56th minute Michael De Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何志昂 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 袁朗辉 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, 庞骏思 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 鲁笑真 in the 63rd minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 庞骏思 hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Fauna Utd's Michael De Potter in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by 鲁笑真 in the 89th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when 鲁笑真 came free, but Arne Van Brusselen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 余思坤 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fauna Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
