The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ booed when きよし F.C.™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Isaltino Maraschin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of きよし F.C.™'s Lauro Furlan. Lauro Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the match, Paulo Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal das Neves. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Paulo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Furlan was a little too slow when José Paulo Massa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-1. Isaltino Maraschin scored 3-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauro Furlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lauro Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Maraschin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Furlan having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Serginho Barbosa made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! きよし F.C.™ were furious when Laércio Viana was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The audience held their breath when Agostinho Maraschin in the 39th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Lauro Furlan's left hand side. After 41 minutes, Josué Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the きよし F.C.™ and the AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Josué Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Lauro Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Lauro Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Pitta in the 67th minute of the match. Lauro Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Luís Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Rafael Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ and the きよし F.C.™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lauro Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 88 minutes into the game, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Luís Pitta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lauro Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ had played much better football throughout.
