In the 21st minute Raúl do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Margarito Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Nada Pontual F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Dudu Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Erwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mathias Siqueira took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Margarito Santana. Margarito Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Margarito Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl do Valle in the 46th minute of the match. When Walmyr Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Nada Pontual F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Tasso couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aimé Ham made the kick off in the second half. Sidnei Montenegro's late challenge caught a Flames FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. Sidnei Montenegro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Margarito Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Margarito Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl do Valle in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Kent Chesnay. Raúl do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Margarito Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Kent Chesnay. Kent Chesnay kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sidnei Montenegro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Ellsworth Erwin. Raúl do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Margarito Santana having to interfere. Raúl do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nada Pontual F.C fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Nada Pontual F.C's Raúl do Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raúl do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Margarito Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flames FC's goalkeeper Margarito Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Nada Pontual F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flames FC.
