Placido Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Monteiro in the 7th minute of play. Tiago Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Paulo Tasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Libertad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Moisés Antunes came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ENZO FC's Agustin Behe. But to his dismay, Agustin Behe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Inocencio Dubardo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, ENZO FC's goalkeeper Placido Libertad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Tasso. 27 minutes into the game, Albertinho Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monumento Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ENZO FC the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Barros to maneuver through the defense. ENZO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Paulo Tasso scored to the left of an out of position Placido Libertad, making the score, 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Paulo Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Placido Libertad. ENZO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 40 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Luz. In the 43rd minute Gaston Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Monteiro in the 45th minute of play forced ENZO FC's goalkeeper Placido Libertad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Eguntsenti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Paulo Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Placido Libertad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Moisés Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Iigo in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Bruno Salles got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gaston Iigo took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Antunes. Moisés Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tadeo Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot. ENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Eguntsenti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ENZO FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
