The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils-Åke Kristiansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Vejbystrand's Nils-Åke Kristiansson got control of the ball when Conrad Elliott tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Johnathan Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils-Åke Kristiansson, 1-0. Nils-Åke Kristiansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Baca in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Alberto Baca made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Åke Kristiansson. Vejbystrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Baca in the 23rd minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Hedkvist in the 25th minute of play. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Johnathan Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Vejbystrand's Nils-Åke Kristiansson got control of the ball when Alberto Baca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dillon McDonough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Rosendal in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Johnathan Valle took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Nils-Åke Kristiansson to make any attempt to save it. After 41 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Santos Metcalf. In the 45th minute, Anthon Strömbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Åke Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Cameron Bliss was substituted for Tod Goss. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Jim Patton was substituted for Conrad Elliott. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Nicky Cavazos was substituted for Johnathan Valle. The wind increased when Nicky Cavazos made the kick off in the second half. Marc Rosendal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dillon McDonough firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nicky Cavazos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils-Åke Kristiansson. Nils-Åke Kristiansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 60 minutes into the game, Nicky Cavazos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nils-Åke Kristiansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Hal Marks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Åke Kristiansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Nils-Åke Kristiansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicky Cavazos went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Jim Patton scored 9-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Åke Kristiansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Måns Nordkvist got free with Dillon McDonough in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dillon McDonough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Skarkman in the 80th minute of play. Dillon McDonough made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Rosendal in the 83rd minute. Abe Hoyt hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Hedkvist in the 88th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Arne Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Per-Arne Lundgren got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Vejbystrand booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hal Marks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Åke Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Cavazos in the 97th minute of play. Vejbystrand's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
