Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torcato Carneiro kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Almeida during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Exército Português's Mariano Almeida got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 17 played minutes Exército Português got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Modesto. Delmar Dodorol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torcato Carneiro went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Sandro Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Clemente Olayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruquense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exército Português the free kick. Clemente Olayo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Sandro Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Torcato Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruquense FC's Delmar Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torcato Carneiro in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Noe was the one to do the kick off. Exército Português's Torcato Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Exército Português's Sandro Valverde slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmar Dodorol. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Exército Português had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
