The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Hernan Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos da Costa in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Carlos da Costa made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Belo. Konurbano Atletico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Weather came free, but Almir Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Deivid Ferraz got a free kick in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Konurbano Atletico's Almir Faria threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilfredo Madaleno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Richard Quintal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Wilfredo Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when Konurbano Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Belo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Compostela FSCMZ's Carlos da Costa. But to his dismay, Carlos da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luis Txatxu hit a great ball. If Richard Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Carlos da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hernan Belo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Ponc got free with Almir Faria in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Deivid Ferraz took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Belo. Hernan Belo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 66 minutes into the game, Deivid Ferraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hernan Belo. Deivid Ferraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilmar Paes got free with Hernan Belo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos da Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Belo. That made the score 0-6 in the 73 minute of play. Compostela FSCMZ's José Pedro Matos was substituted for Gilmar Paes. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Matos in the 79th minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Hernan Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Richard Quintal could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Hernan Belo however easily saved by the left post. Hernan Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Ferraz in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Compostela FSCMZ's Cesinha Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Belo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Compostela FSCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
