In the 19th minute, Javi Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roberto Fidencio fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La France FC's protests and gave Roberto Fidencio a yellow card for diving instead. La France FC's Emiliano Maurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Finnbogason in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, La France FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Arnas to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Finnbogason took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Maurin. Emiliano Maurin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ragnar Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Johnsson in the 52nd minute of play forced La France FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jonny Alströmer hit a great ball. The throw-in from Magnus Tham in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La France FC's Roberto Fidencio. Javi Amato kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, La France FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Fidencio to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Maurin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ragnar Johnsson. 75 minutes into the match, La France FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Maurin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Johnsson. In the 77th minute Javi Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 93 in the game by Åke Svanér from a close distance when the talented Emiliano Maurin managed to make a qualified save. La France FC's players were relieved. In the 94th minute Ragnar Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When La France FC's Javi Amato in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Di Röe's goalie prevented a goal.
